How To Use Your Device

Installing ear tips

Please follow these steps to mount the ear tips as incorrect placement could result in the dome being left in the ear after hearing aid is removed.

Step 1: Choose a suitable size ear tip
Step 2: Push the ear tip rim membrane outward
Step 3: Hold on to the end of the ear tube and push firmly to ensure that the ear tip is fastened securely

Left & Right Hearing Aid Markings

There is a red or blue marking on the ear tube. This lets you know if it is the left or right hearing aid.

Wear & Removal

Wearing the hearing aid 

Step 1: Choose a suitable size ear tip and install it on the device
Step 2: Gently wrap the hearing aid over your ear until it rests securely behind your ear.
Step 3: Push the ear tube into your ear canal until it is snug and comfortable.
Step 4: Place the Stabilization Bar in the pinna of your ear.

Turning On/Turning Off Your Device

Turn ON: Long press the key for 3 seconds and the hearing aid will power ON with a prompt tone of “beep-beep-beep”
Turn OFF: Long press the key for 3 seconds and the hearing aid will power OFF with a prompt tone of “beep-beep-beep”

 

Volume Adjustment

The hearing aid has 11 levels of volume.

To turn volume UP: Short press the + key once

To turn volume DOWN: Short press the - key once

Hearing Mode Switching 

The GEMINI M5 hearing aids have 4 different hearing modes.

You can cycle through the 4 modes with a long press of the button (please refer to Table 1). The hearing aid is designed with a memory function: it will automatically remember the last used hearing mode the next time it is powered ON.
